The first night of Juneteenth celebrates the ancestors in a program that combines music, historic/educational information and historic re-enactments capped off with an ice cream social sponsored by Stewart’s Ice Cream. The event is organized by the Community Fathers and Vale Cemetery and is part of the annual Juneteenth Celebration organized by the Hamilton Hill Arts Center. The celebration in honor of our ancestors is free.
