’80s babies are smiling this week as one of our favorite it girls from the ’90s and 2000s is heading to the ballroom.

On September 2, Tatyana Ali, best known as Ashley Banks on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” announced that she will compete on Season 35 of “Dancing with the Stars.” Tatyana is ready to pull out the heels, crystal-covered costumes, glitter, rhinestones, gorgeous hair and full glam – and her fans are already eating it up.

Tatyana will dance with professional partner Jan Ravnik, who previously toured with Taylor Swift. “We’ve got a lot of dancing to do, let’s gooo!!!” she wrote while announcing their partnership on Instagram.

Fans and celebrity friends are already rallying behind Tatyana. Keshia Knight Pulliam, Terri J. Vaughn and “Fresh Prince” costar Karyn Parsons celebrated in her comments.

Tatyana Ali Gives Us Ballroom Glam

Before taking her first official spin around the ballroom, Tatyana previewed her beauty and fashion to come. The child star dropped a new cast portrait that was dripping in fabulousness.

The shot featured Tatyana in a nude and blush gown covered in sparkling rhinestones. A corset-style bodice hugs her curves while peach feathers drape from her hip and frame a thigh-high slit. Silver strappy heels complete the look.

Her hair falls around her face in voluminous waves, while bronzed makeup and a glossy nude lip finish the soft glam. She is serving the girls ballroom baddie – and it looks good pn her.

Ashley Banks Is All Grown Up – And Taking On Reality TV

Tatyana graced our screens as Ashley Banks, the gorgeous girl next door growing up in an affluent Black family. Many of us saw pieces of ourselves in her.

We watched Ashley find her voice, explore music, push boundaries and grow into a young woman. Tatyana later released her own music, including the hit “Daydreamin’,” and appeared in projects such as “The Young and the Restless” and “Abbott Elementary.”

More recently, she has reunited with “Fresh Prince” costars Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro. Now, fans will get another reunion when she joins Alfonso in the ballroom. He currently cohosts “Dancing with the Stars.”

Tatyana joins a powerhouse cast of celebrities, reality stars, athletes and dancers.

The new lineup includes Ciara Miller from “The Traitors” and “Summer House,” Jenna Dewan, Julia Stiles, Chef Giada De Laurentiis, and more. With so many fan favorites competing, this season could get interesting quickly.
